What We Believe

As a Christian church we believe in the authority of the Bible and in the Sovereignty of God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

† God the Father, who created us and all the world.
† God the Son who redeemed us, in giving Himself on the Cross for our Salvation.
† God the Holy Spirit, who guides and strengthens us each day as we seek to become more like Jesus.

Jesus said: "I have come that you may have life, and have it to the full…"
Jesus offers to each of us a Life Worth Living, in a relationship with Him, knowing His forgiveness and His Love and filled with His Peace and His Joy.

Our Mission for Our Church

“That it may be a House of prayer, a Centre of Christian Teaching and a witness within the community to God's redeeming love”

Our Vision

"To know Christ and to make Him Known"

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:13-14

Worship

Worship is primarily and ultimately about God….. But it is also about us as individuals and as a community coming together and bringing our thanks and praise to God, and to come on behalf of others: the wider church throughout the world, the local community and those we know, as we ask for His blessing and seek His wisdom, power, strength, guidance and healing. It is also about making a difference in our community, in the way we live our lives on a daily basis. Our lives as Christ's Disciples should reflect the God who is living in us, and the Holy Spirit who is working through us, to help transform the lives of those around us.

There is something for everyone at Mullavilly, and we have a range of different services on a Sunday and during the month: Holy Communion, Family Services, Morning and Evening Worship, Special Praise Services and other services for special occasions such as Christmas, Easter and Harvest. We encourage our congregation to take part in helping to lead including our children and young people.

Matthew 25:37-40: '...whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’

Baby Basics provides much-needed essential equipment to mothers and families who are unable to obtain these items for themselves. The recipients include teenage mums, people seeking asylum and women fleeing domestic abuse or trafficking.

Baby Basics relies on donations to make up the starter packs. We need ‘Moses baskets’, baby baths, nappies, wipes, baby towels, blankets, knitted cardigans, cotton wool, changing mats, blankets and small toys for baby. For Mum we ask for shower gel, breast pads and hand/breast creams. In line with health and safety regulations, all the baskets will go out containing a completely new mattress.

So, do you have any of these items that you may no longer need and would like to go to a new baby? If you do, please get in touch.

All welcome & feel free to bring a friend

At Mullavilly our children and young people are very important to us, as they are not only our future church, but very much part of our church today, which is why we try to provide a range of activities for them to engage in.

These activities range from Sunday School, Church Mice, Bumblebees Parent and Toddler Group and Rainbows.

We also have a varied range of organisations for adults. If you are interested in Bible Study, Indoor Bowling, Mothers Union, Badminton, or wish to join with the ‘Young at heart’ Group, you will be made most welcome. We also have a very dedicated group of people who help as part of a Catering Team, who are happy to help with special lunches, teas, or special occasions.

We respect your privacy and do not tolerate spam and will never sell, rent, lease or give away your information (name, email, etc.) to any third party. Nor will we send you unsolicited email.
